bass flute (pre-recorded sounds) and bass clarinet (pre-recorded sounds)
Couloir, agrégats et brèches irréfutables is a first collaborative composition by Cléo Palacio-Quintin and Philippe Lauzier. Here, the source of all sound vibration is breathing. A bass flute and a bass clarinet serve as resonators to make the details of their breath heard. By adding samples triggered in real-time, the sum of several acoustic and electroacoustic sounds becomes a living matter, largely developed by improvisation. The listener is invited in a sound space which is at times floating and, at other times, confused in its own system.
