Y’ a du bruit dans ma cabane
Wednesday & Thursday, December 17-18, 2008 o 8;30 pm SAT - 1195 Saint-Laurent Blvd, Montreal
SuperMusique’s Grand Annual Concert, in an audio-visual set developed by ingenious designers; forewoman Joane Hétu and architects Jean Derome, Danielle Palardy Roger and Martin Tétreault.
Danielle Palardy Roger invites you to taste her cuisine in an audio meal, Martin Tétreault is offering you to relax in a comfy Sofa so Good, Jean Derome gets his library whispering for you, and Joane Hétu is exploring the piping. But the tour doesn’t end there, as there is plenty more rooms and nooks to visit in this house.
Quite a shack indeed, decorated by video artist David Emmanuel Fafard and lighting artist Alexandre Péloquin.
Seven members of Ensemble SuperMusique, all master musique actuelle performers and improvisers will play works that reveal the customized world of various rooms around a house. There will be a lot of noise in their shack!
With; forewoman Joane Hétu (saxophone & vocals), bricklayer Jean Derome (soprano saxophone, objects, flutes), painter Danielle Palardy Roger (drums), plumber Martin Tétreault (turntables), mason Pierre Tanguay (drums, objects), cabinet-maker Diane Labrosse (sampler, accordion), plasterer Pierre-Yves Martel (viola da gamba).
