Un concert exceptionnel réunissant plus de 60 voix féminines!

Chœur Maha celebrates 25 years of feminist music and community. This Montréal based women’s choir has delighted and inspired audiences with their creative repertoire, singing in as many languages and styles as possible, from Hildegard von Bingen to Hildegard Westerkamp; from Medieval to Madonna.

Their name is always associated with innovative feminist music, high energy performances and a decidedly non-traditional take on choral music. This special concert includes a range of innovative canadian compositions, including an improvised work directed by musique actuelle diva Joane Hétu. Many former choir members will be reunited to perform a truly unique large-scale choral composition called, La Marée des jours, by artistic director Kathy Kennedy.

A presentation of the Chœur Maha co-broadcast with SuperMusique Productions.
