Une soirée à la fois trash et mélancolique

Fortner Anderson, a pioneer of Montreal’s “spoken word” genre, reveals Solitary Pleasures, a poetic journal of his obsessions and fantasies. A performer “extraordinaire”, he shares a selection of 35 poems with us, accompanied by the greats of contemporary music. This segues into an opportunity to underline the 30th anniversary of Claude Vivier’s death with Diane Labrosse’s work, Mélancolie d’un lieu, composed in his honor. An evening at once both “trash” and melancholic.
