Concert presented at the Zomer Jazz Fiets Tour in Groningen (The Netherlands).

Saxophonist Jean Derome and percussionist Pierre Tanguay have been working together in several music projects since the 1980’s. Their repertoire consists of free improvisations, new compositions, jazz standards and pieces from other projects, such as the group Jean Derome et les Dangereux Zhoms. Each piece is joyfully delivered with the intention of captivating the audience; humor becoming a vehicle of avant-garde expression. In addition, the intuitive level of communication between these two artists generates a relaxed setting. Thanks to its Jew’s harp duets and astonishing improvisations, this tandem has an uncanny gift for bewitching and entertaining audiences.
