Josianne Laberge

Very active on the local and national scene for more than 10 years, Josiane Laberge is a polyvalent musician, as well as a skilled teacher. She completed in 2002 classic violin studies with the renowned Gyorgy Terebesi at Université Laval, and showed later more interest in jazz and improvised music. She founded the band Polémil Bazar with which she recorded 3 albums and performed more than 400 live concerts. She participated in numerous national and international tours, notably beside the Manouche jazz icons Patrick Saussois, Lollo Meier, Andreas Oberg and Wawau Adler as well as collaborating in various recordings.
