Normand Guilbeault

Normand Guilbeault is known for his work with musicians Jean Beaudet, Yannick Rieu, Nelson Symonds, and Bernard Primeau, and for his regular collaborative efforts with Jean Derome, René Lussier, Robert Marcel Lepage, and Michel F. Côté. In May 1998, his show Riel plaidoyer musical pour la réhabilitation d’un Juste opened the 15th Festival International de Musique Actuelle de Victoriaville, and the Open Waters Festival of New & Improvised Music in Halifax the following autumn. The work was recorded in February 1999 at Au Lion d’Or in Montreal and is available on compact disc.
