Les Poules — Toronto Interface Series

Nov 7 + Nov 8 + Nov 9 2008

Les Poules meet artists from the Toronto improvised music scene.

About this series

Invited by the Association of Improvising Musicians of Toronto, Les Poules are taking part to three nights of meetings with local artists. At a frantic three-original-concerts-a-night pace, Hétu, Labrosse, and Roger will be sharing the stage with; Allison Cameron, Tania Gill, Thom Gill, Jay Hay, Paul Newman, Nicole Rampersaud, Colin Anthony, Germaine Liu, Peter Lutek, Christine Duncan, Susanna Hood, Michelangelo Iaffaldano, Nick Storring, Erin Crickett, Tiina Kiik, Ronda Rindone, and Jeremy Strachan. To round up the series, Les Poules will perform Phénix their brand-new improvisation canvas, which offers a wealth of sonic constructions that are both raw and concise, and reveal a highly conceptual and minimal form of improvised music.
