About this series
In eight days, Castor et Compagnie will perform seven concerts in three countries:
France, (one concert); Germany, (three concerts) and Switzerland (three
concerts).
The Castor et Compagnie quartet is now five years old. Chansons nouvelles
is a new set of songs written by Joane Hétu over the last year. Always looking for
new ways to bring together text and music, Hétu is trying to grasp and respect the
balance between her direction and the group’s own drive, her aspirations and her
bandmates’ craziness. These sweet moments are made of warmth, sidesteps and
reverie…
