About this series
Les Poules consists of three fourths of Wondeur Brass: Joane Hétu, Diane Labrosse
and Danielle Palardy Roger. This experience running in parallel with Wondeur Brass
exploits thoroughly the concepts of freedom of speech, self-provocation and
spontaneity. The project was meant as a one-shot deal back in 1987, but there was
obviously more things to say. Over the years, Les Poules would reform sporadically,
always with the same level of artistic integrity.
