About this series
This show earns Wondeur Brass extra points in credibility: their collective work
has clearly grown and strengthen. The brass section is more assured, especially when
everyone’s involved. The rhythm section is now tighter and the synthesizers give the
group a more personal sound. Wondeur Brass commands the respect due to a large
ensemble.
Invited to the Femmes et musique Festival in Paris, Wondeur Brass takes the
opportunity to give two other shows in Southern France (Clapiers & Montpellier).
This first appearance in Europe became the starting point of a long relationship
that, starting in 1985, regularly brought the musicians back to tour the various
European new and improvised music circuits.
