About this series

SuperMusique and DAME have been trying to establish a solid, recurring outlet for the musicians who are not part of their regular “stable” for a long time… SuperOption is now here. A SuperOption that brings together as many concerts as compact disc launches. In the course of this second edition, we will have a chance to experience many currents that stemmed from new music or “musique actuelle” in the last twenty years: improvisation, noise, new acoustic and electronic instruments, avant-rock, deconstructed jazz, sound poetry, and new ensemble music. Presented over three weeks this year, the SuperOption series welcomes on its stage marvelously innovative musicians, more than famous musicians from here and abroad, and most of all fresh blood. Yes, fresh blood, Sang9. A range of young artists who throw at our ears their fire, their vitality, their ingenuity.
