About this event

Guitarist and composer René Lussier, a major figure on the Canadian innovative music scene, has invited American guitarist and frenzied bruitiste improviser Eugene Chadbourne for an evening of furiously original energy. Lori Freedman (clarinet and bass clarinet), Claude Méthé (violin and mandolin) and Pierre Lavoie (slide guitar) round out a quintet where time-honoured influences (folk, blues, bluegrass, and traditional music) encounter free improvisation.

Coproduced by Productions SuperMusique and Innovations en concert, as part of the event “Guitarévolution.”
