About this event

The intense and disconcerting Montréal saxophonist/vocalist Joane Hétu is meeting the phenomenal British drummer/percussionist Chris Cutler. On the menu: vocals, acoustic and electronic instruments, sounds made out of contrasts and multiple timbres. Unpredictable music based on intelligent exchanges and sensitive, vivid and acute dialog. A vibrant song of freedom arises from this dense music, where improvisation always remain a key component.

In addition to presenting their duo, Joane Hétu and Chris Cutler will have two guests: the remarkable guitarist René Lussier and the innovative sound artist Christof Migone.
