About this event
Sagesse pratique (“Practical Wisdom”) is a collage concert made of about
50 miniature songs whose lyrics, ironic here, satirical or dubious there, have been
inspired by sayings, the popular reference of choice. Here, Diane Labrosse reshapes
these often-antiquated nuggets of wisdom and morality. Like a comic, she is
“demoralizing” them and organizing them into a newfangled collection of practical
wisdom.
