About this event

Les Poules consists of Productions SuperMémé’s three artistic directors: Joane Hétu, Diane Labrosse and Danielle Palardy Roger. The group plays thoroughly with such concepts as freedom of expression, self-provocation and spontaneity. Proceeding from improvisation designs or games, Les Poules’ music is playful, creative and very much alive. Conversations, dialogues, fencing, seduction, moods… A unique take on music begging for a different way of listening: both the musicians and the listener enjoy a high level of freedom.

The project was meant as a one-shot deal back in 1987, but there was obviously more things to say. Over the years, Les Poules would reform sporadically, always with the same level of artistic integrity.
